Q. First and foremost: How much is this going to cost me?
A. Well, like the credit card commercials say, the smile on your child's face is priceless.  Showing is a wonderful experience, but it can be expensive. However, with a little planning there are ways to cut costs.  The basic fee is $50 to use and haul the horse to the show, plus $30 for coaching.  Entry fees range from about $7.50 a class to about $10.50 per class. In the first show,  your child probably will enter three to five classes. (Don't feel too bad; in major shows the entry fees can be a hundred dollars or more per class.)
