Q. When will my child actually enter the ring?
A. It depends. But plan on waiting. There is no way to know how many horses are entered, and in classes such as jumping, each horse has to go one at a time. Horse shows tend to be a lot of "hurry up and wait."  It's a good idea to bring plenty of drinks, snacks, and lawn chairs and plan to make a day of it. Be sure to bring sun block and a hat for spectators and competitors alike on hot days and plenty of layers on cold ones.
