Q. Do we have any prayer of winning?
A. Yes, especially if it's pouring rain and we're one of the few who show up. Ribbons are given to the top 6 riders.  There is no way to know how many horses will enter - some classes may have only five or six entries and everyone gets a ribbon while others may have 20 or more and the smallest mistake will knock your child out of the ribbons.  We make every effort to find appropriate classes that match your child's level of skill so that they have a chance at winning. Obviously, horses are unpredictable and kids at shows tend to be nervous and not ride as well as they do at home; so it's hard to predict how things will go.
